and now i think i'm ready.

I contemplated on what I wanted to do for my birthday for manymany weeks. I didn't want to let it just pass by yet I wasn't really in the mood to plan a party. I decided on a small lunch with the girlfriends but my mummy had a whole other plan.

Surprise No.1;

My daddy had be assigned to work over my birthday weekend so my mum had thought of holding a family dinner on the 8th. I was told that only Uncle Bashir&family were coming. The original plan was for me to go out in the afternoon so they could prepare the place. Those plans got canceled because my friends had other things on, so I just chose to spend the afternoon at home. Mummy didn't seem to pleased (which made me very suspicious). When I asked what was being served for dinner, my mum gave really weird answers like, 'Rice and Pumpkin curry only'. When I told my dad over the phone that we're having guests over for dinner, he replied with a simple 'Oh' in a how-do-you-know tone of voice. Everything was beginning to seem a little suspicious, and that suspicion grew when my sister rearranged my table setting for 8 into a buffet style setting. My mum had sent me home to wait for a lady who was going to drop of things for my dad. I immediately thought it was some form of documents so you could just imagine my puzzled look when I saw the lady unloading pots full of food. This pretty much confirmed my suspicions - my mum had planned a dinner for me and invited family friends. I should have known :)

Surprise No.2;

My mummy is well aware of my love for my cupcakes. So for my birthday, she ordered a box full of cupcakes in pretty little colours - some with M&M toppings, some with marshmallow toppings and some with pretty little hearts&flowers. But with a few more tricks left up in her sleeve, she secretly ordered a cake for me despite me telling her I didn't need one. Unfortunately, I was sent down to pick up the cake from her friend's place and the maid terbuka the box and showed the pretty cake to me. Mum was a little shocked and just said, "SURPRISE!". I couldn't stop laughing throughout the car ride back home. Too bad my mum didn't know I don't eat chocolate cake. Oh well, the others enjoyed it :)

(sort of) Surprise No. 3;

My mum had also secretly invited Nique over for dinner. Too bad Nique isn't very good at the art of sneaking around. She left her shoes right in front of the door so I saw it as I was about to go downstairs. So I nicely took my time to come down and you could hear all the shush-ing from downstairs. I chuckled inside. Haha. Nique tried hiding behind the kitchen counter but she didn't do that very well either as I could see the top of her head over the counter. Silly billy. At least she brought (home made) cupcakes. Thank you hun <3.>

Surprise No. 4;

A little past 12, Nique asked me to follow her upstairs for something. I thought I was going to get my birthday present from her but instead she stood at the door and started yelling for Vid. I thought she lost her mind for a second there. I opened the door and there my friends were, Muzzie holding a cake along with Vid, Mandy, Zai, Aishah and Kim. Vid&Mandy even made the effort to bake me peanut butter chocolate chip cookies which tasted absolutely delish. Ooh, and I totally almost drove Muzzie's car. Too bad my dad was there. Haha.

And the rest of the pictures from the night,

Dragged myself out of bed pretty early because Ming was complaining that we won't spend enough time together. That boyy came to pick me up from my place, not before he told my mum "I'll take her to either somewhere bright or a dark alley". Thanks, you totally helped. Had breakfast somewhere in SS2 after driving around for ages deciding where to eat. Mum told the rest of the family (extended as well) that I went on a date. Great, thanks mum. And Ming, don't flatter yourself :). He dropped me off at OU where I met up for lunch with some of my girlfriends.

Despite a couple of my friends bailing at the last minute, I enjoyed our small group of little girly chit chat and giggles.

Left OU in a rush to get ready for MCR later that night with Aishah, Nique and last minute Belle. Saw about a zillion people & about a trillion good looking people (read : guys) we didn't know. Managed to get in front of our 163 line, and goodness all the sweaty bodies squished together, the fat moody man next to me and the ass groping was totally worth it. At least one of the guys was kind enough to give up his front place to let four short (compared to him) girls move in front of him.

One word - Awesome.

all the lights and sounds.

After four years, Zhen, Nique, Belle and I manage to squeeze in a day to meet up. Just the four of us, like at Uncle Derrick's house. Of course, when I met Belle, I didn't let her off the hook that easily as I threw multiply bitch fits as her - just to make up for lost time :). After all, she did choose shaving legs over a call, and going to Mid Valley which she doesn't like over bumming with me. You suck Belle. ILY <3.

Anyhoo, we had lunch at Itallianies (which was fucking hell funny), took pictures of unknown kindasorta good looking blond guys, walked around aimlessly, stalked a certain boy, then watched Terpesona (Enchanted) later. Laughed ourselves silly just because we could and made fun about everything and anything in the movie. Remind me to never sit next to Belle and/or Zhen again. And there was this guy somewhere behind us who was either really touched by the movie and kept on crying or was just really sick cause he kept on blowing his nose. Weird.

It was good catching up. Definitely. Let's just hope I'll be seeing more of Belle before she leaves me to erm, shave her legs again ;).

Oh and guess what? :)

love thy neighbour.

Is that PINK I see in your hair?

Hee :)

Isaak dropped off home made brownies last night. I swear, it's orgasmic.

Two weeks ago it was swiss roll from the one across the street, this week is brownies from the one next door. I, without a doubt, love my neighbours.

jue*and you're the perfect thing to say.

please stay for awhile.

Finally, some time to breathe.

I plead temporary insanity for the post below. Hee.

You would think that things would have started slowing down after the first week but I swear, it's as though someone pressed the accelerator on life and has no intention to step on the breaks. There's been a handful of things going on and there's about a million left to come. Sometimes I wonder if I'm better off just curled up on the TV couch enjoying the past season(s) of Ugly Betty and One Tree Hill.

I've yet to clean my room (and this annoys me very much) or start taking piano seriously because I've been too busy cleaning up the rest of the house. I've yet to see about a million people I planned to do so.

Anyhoo,

26th & 27th November 2007

I'm pretty thankful I talked myself out of taking Econs&Accounts as extra subjects. Pure science students were the first to finish their papers so I, along with the rest of PJ bummed around curve the entire night. Started off with meeting Isaiah Joshua Thomas where we watched Hitman. Well, sort of. Then I met the usual group for a little hellogoodbye before having dinner with Davi, Mimz, Annie and Nique at Tony Romas's. Did all sort of nonsense while killing time before our midnight movie - Beowulf. It was pretty funny movie for us, at least and it was definitely an enjoyable night, what with the Baskin Robbins, the hotel toilets, conquering Starbucks, fake conversations and drunktards.

Spent the night at Miriam's along with Davi&Nique. They're hopeless people to sleepover with since they fell asleep almost right after the movie started and I was left to watch License to Wed alone. Slept at 5 in the morning after a good conversation with a certain someone and was woken up five hours later by my best friend playing all sorts of songs from her phone since she got the most sleep. Ate Famous Amos for breakfast, went to Amcorp, had waffles at A&W for lunch. Muzzie&Mei came to pick me up for an impromptu visit to our beloved OU. Walked around for a little bit, bought a car and went to see the birthday girl (Hana) at Chilli's. Went back to Mei's for a little while. Once again, I love heart to heart talks with her :). Plus I got to clean her room ;). I finally got back home twenty five hours after leaving it. I can confidently say, I successfully kicked off my after SPM celebrations :).

28th November 2007

Wednesday marked my lunch day with Pilus, Mei and Nique. We headed off to Piccadilly's for a light lunch. The food is delish and best of all, cheap, but I don't think I even finished half of my curry mee due to the overwhelming portions. Filled our time with a little chit chat mixed with some gossip about people at the other tables and a little Jonas Brothers fantasizing. Afterall, we are girls :).

Vanu picked us up and we were off to Pyramid to bowl. Yes, bowl. I must say, Pornstar sure has her way with balls. Stopped by a couple of shops where I drooled over gorgeous vests and pretty little tops. Mei&Davi both tried on some dresses which they looked b-e-a-you-tiful in. Oh well, I suppose the world would have their chance to see it soon. Stopped by Topshop to buy Hana's birthday present then it was off to Sushi King for our dinner. First girls day out of the holidays :).

29th November 2007

My parents have a thing for telling us life changing situations at the last minute without any warning. My maid left today and as of now, my mum has no intention on hiring another one which simply means, I'll be proving my point to Lexandl Gan that I am not spoilt. The chores start today. Crap.

I crawled out of bed at 9.30 for my 9.45 piano class. I canceled my plans for the 29th, 30th and day plans for the 1st&2nd so I can stay home just to make sure the house doesn't become some rat infested dirty little building.

While I wasn't cleaning the house (I make it seem like I've been doing a lot, but it's alright, really), I was making myself all comfortable in front of the TV enjoying DVD after DVD of Ugly Betty and One Tree Hill. I've forgotten how much I love this show. The cliche Lucas Scott quotes in the beginning and end of the episodes, the Brooke bitch fits, the Peyton sarcasm. I could just spend hours in front of the idiot box. Too bad I have friends. Haha.

1st December 2007

I cannot believe we've already headed into the very last month of the year. Although the year didn't pass by in lightning speed, there's a certain kind of sadness you feel as you head to last leg of the race. Have you achieved all that you had planned to this year? Are you at a place you've envisioned yourself to be? There's so many questions left unanswered but rest assure, we have another thirty days to figure out the answer.

I became little miss Cinderella and mopped the house today just so mummy wouldn't have to do all the chores herself. Plus, it's rather self satisfying after seeing a house that's clean because of you. Hee :)

Made my way to Mei's house where I was very obviously over dressed next to Aishah&Mei who were just clad in jeans. Watched Cheaper by the Dozen 2 while waiting for Meer to get ready since he overslept. Picked him at school and off we were to Hana's birthday party.

I don't remember Bukit Jelutong being as far as it seemed, but the drive was pretty much worth it. Honestly, Hana just has to walk up and down her drive way a few times and she would have enough exercise for the entire day. Do a couple of laps in the pool and she'll be set for the week. Haha.

AND OMGOMG WE GOT TO SEE OUR SPACE TOURIST FIRST ASTRONOUT!
-__________-

You can read Ieka's blog about that.

Hana's four brothers were pretty entertaining too with their endless questions and rockstar poses. The good company made it all worth while and I love visiting new home anyways. I rather enjoyed laying on the grass just talking about random stuff. Oh, cupcakes&stripteases <3.>

2nd December 2007

After a longlong time, it was finally a girl's day out in the M household. Mummy, sister and me spent most of the day together which was good for a change. I'm too lazy to elaborate. I think the steamboat dinner mummy cooked made me put on weight. I promise to pay the gym a visit...soon.

3rd December 2007

Since there was a mix up in dates with Ming, I dropped by OU with Mei today. Followed her mum for a little Christmas shopping while we contemplated what to get a 16 year old boy. Mei flat out disagreed with my idea of just gift wrapping me.

Walked around for a little while, stopping to try on dresses, find shoes for prom and greet familiar faces. There were a few I chose not too though. Seeing your exboyfriend (or in my case exboyfriendS) all in one day is never really that fun. Mei felt like watching a movie so we bought tickets for Bee Movie where I felt like my brain cells just died in that cinema hall. I can't believe I actually stuck around to see the entire movie.

Had dinner at Chili's :). We were tucked away at the back away from erm, people (ie a little boy named M) so we had all the privacy in the world to have another heart to heart. I must say, the waiter sure enjoyed refilling my drink. I haven't figured out why. After kindasorta stalking some spiky hair dude who turned out to be not so good looking, we decided to give our feet a rest and headed back home. I don't think I can ever get sick of this girl.

4th December 2007

Exactly four weeks till the New Year.

Today marked best friend day :). After vacuuming the entire house and kindasorta doing the dishes, I made my way across the big bad main road to see Lim Dominique Jo after like six days. I think it's a record. Crashed her room for a little bit while I ranted and whined and complained about anything and everything because that's what I do with her. Updated her on life while she was busy drooling over guys in that tiny island down south.

Went to BluInc Media's office where we laughed ourselves silly filling up forms before making an impromptu visit to Pyramid since Nique wanted to check out Pyramid2. Jalan-jalan, found the most funky pair of wedges at Bata which reminded me of those AE ones I've been wanting to get, bought nail polish and pretzels then went back to her place to dance around to Jonas Brothers and be mean about other people's lives. Goodness, I love time with her.

Did I mention I went back home with pink hair? And surprisingly, my dad likes it.

Oh, and I'm a little too lazy to post up pictures so, :)

jue*wherever you go.

Monday, December 3, 2007

i thought i saw you change.

I've come to a point where my body and mind seems rather detached. It's as though my brain has been set on fast forward while my body remains stationery.

It's one week of freedom down and about three weeks to go.

I swear, I'm losing my mind.

jue*but that was just a dream.
