There's so much to update on, so many pictures to upload and so many thoughts to express but honestly speaking, I just haven't had the time. And plus, coming online seems more like a chore nowadays so please excuse the lack of updates. I'll jump right back on the updating wagon as soon as I regain my mood.

Temporarily on hiatus. I will be editing previous posts though. So stay tuned.

if it takes the pain away.

You would think that I would have started burying my face in books after trials, considering how my marks turned out to be. But if you really did think that, I guess you don't really know me at all. Here's a quick run down of the weeks leading up to Ass Pee Emm (which in my mind sounds a lot like let's pee on them). Oh, and to those who still owe me pictures (namely Zhen, Hana, Ieka and Sarah), pleasepleaseplease send them as soon as possible! You know how much I hate publishing incomplete posts. Please&thank you!

20th October 2007;
Lunch with Aunty Aggie, Vid and Mandy

The entire raya holidays happened to be insanely boring because my friends where either in their hometowns celebrating raya or dating their revision books. So when Vid told me about lunch, I was beyond happy to finally have something to do. Something that doesn't require reading, memorising, writing or anything of that sort.

I decided to cash in on my long awaited chittychat with Vid and drop by her place in the morning. I think I've forgotten how much I miss talking to this woman. Read her letters (heh!), laughed about nothing, fell down the stairs and left for Bangsar. On the way, we made a bet that Mandy would be late but to our surprise, she arrived shortly after us. Ampang girl in Bangsar. She's hilarious :).

The three of us went to meet Aunty Aggie for lunch at La Bodega after Vid bought a pig. Like seriously. It was so good seeing her again and catching up on nearly everything and anything. We laughed so hard and we barely had awkward silent moments. A remarkable lunch, I must say. And the food was absolutely delish <3.>

Taty's Open House

Vid came over after lunch and literally watched me change into something more decent. The both of us were dropped off at Taty's for a small Raya do. A handful of funny moments and the newly blonde Ieka exposed her well, blondeness.

Walked all the way to Adam's after coming home where I finally got a tour of the house despite living opposite each other for years. In all fairness, I roughly knew how the house looked liked okay!

21st October 2007;
Hameer's Open House

I wasn't really planning on going to Meer's place simply because I wasn't feeling quite up to it. But I'm easily persuaded and well, Nique&I made a last minute dash just to tunjuk muka. It's pretty amusing to me that the whole bunch of us have been friends for us yet there seemed to be some invisible divider seperating the guys and the girls. One half was watching TV while the others were berboraking outside debating whether Mr. Space Tourist really swings that way or not and finally concluding that Ieka likes to date gay men.

We didn't stay for all that long but it was somewhat good seeing those familiar faces again. Key word being : somewhat.

26th October 2007;
Last Physics Class

I have to admit, I think I'm going to miss Physics tuition with people I barely even know. Being in a testosterone filled class sure wasn't as happening as I thought it would be but hell yeah, I did have fun. I'm definitely going to miss Aaron's himbo-ness, Mr. Willy's assumptions and all the other weird things we do in class. Haha.

27th October 2007;
Graduation Night

28th October 2007;
Sarah's Open House

After much "Sarah, I'm not going to talk to you if you don't have an open house"-ing, I finally had my chance to make my way to her place.

I initially promised myself I wouldn't spend too long at Sarah's. The thought that I hadn't put in much effort despite the first papers only being two weeks away was biting on my consience. But due to unforseen circumstances, I only left at 9.00+, and even that was pushing it with my parents (and Nique's). But Raya only does come once a year. And I absolutely without a doubt less than three Sarah for all the effort I know she enjoyed making(-ish) <3.

31st October 2007;
Last Chemistry Class

Mr. Willy, you certainly brighten up my Wednesday&Friday afternoons with your endless jokes and funny view on things. I think I laughed so hard today, my endorphine levels hit the roof. Haha :)

2nd November 2007;
Last Day of School

I can't believe this is the end of a chapter in my life I'd never ever want to forget.
Heck, this is only the beginning.

3rd November 2007;
Adam's Open House

I absolutely positively love heart to heart talks with Mei&Pilus. It's funny to know that a lot of people assume your life to be a certain way only that in actual fact it's the total opposite.

My current two favourite people <3.

Mei *points to Akmal,Adam's brother* : Wow, Adam's friend sure looks a lot like him!

But the day wasn't over just yet. My brother&I literally went from Adam's house into the car for a quick pop by at another open house in Valencia. And by quick pop by I mean stayed there past midnight until my eyes couldn't open. I was truly beat. Thank goodness for random company.

Nine days to SPM and I spent the entire day not studying. I think that just spells disaster.

4th November 2007;
Farah's Open House

A certain someone convinced me to get off my lazy (attempting to nerd) ass and drop by Farah's. Which I did after being warned by her to dress decently for I was not to embaress her in front of her dad's friends who were also attending. In my defence, though I occasionally dress a little more erm, skin bearing than others, I would never have thought to go to Farah's in a mini skirt and tank top. But I guess a little reminding wouldn't hurt.

Koh Su Mei

My everyday company. My lady in shining armour-y type dress.I've had more fun with you in the last two days than I have had with anyone else in the last few weeks/months. Big hug :)

5th November 2007;
First day of Nique's stay

A week before SPM and I become host to a three day sleepover. Well, not really. But Nique did come over (I have an extra bed in my room for a reason) and amazingly enough, we did manage to study for a bit before our momentum started slowing down and Nique fell alseep. It sure as hell was more effort than what we've been putting in for the last few days! So clapclap to us :).

My dad was a darl and bought us pisang goreng since I've been craving it for days. Note to self : Whenever I want something, ask for it in a friend's presence. It always* works.

*subject to change.

6th November 2007;
Second day of Nique's stay

After three hours of add math class and some prom dress showing off, Nique&I sat ourselves down for a nerding session. Eventually, I pulled two chairs together and fell asleep but Nique being the kind friend that she is sat her uber annoying phone alarm and woke me up five minutes later.

Had an early dinner so the both of us could follow my parents for some last minute Deepavali shopping at KL Central. Mind you, it was pure madness. I could barely breathe and even if I was given a chance, the body odour surrounding us was like O_O. But all that wasn't for nothing, I managed to buy some things (+candy!) and Nique&I bought matching dresses because we're cool. I know Mei's jealous ;).

Stopped by A&W on the way back for a bite of waffles since I've been craving that too. Had a lonngggggg talk with Nique about everything around us until we finally drifted off to sleep. I love my best friend. Damn right, she's better than yours.

7th November 2007;
Third day of Nique's stay & Ipoh

I didn't think we'd be going back to Ipoh since my mummy has to work on the 9th but my dad insisted so we all just follow suit. He is afterall, the man of the house. Haha. I wanted to study on the way but instead fell asleep after the first toll booth while my brother drove and my mum kept on telling him to drive at 60km/h. Woke up just as we entered Ipoh town. It's kinda bad that we only come back once a year but at least we make the effort, right?

Did a little bit of catching up before following my aunt to pick up my cousin from her tuition class. Mummy sat at the backseat saying my aunt drives too fast. Everyone seems to be driving too fast these days in her eyes. Had my grandma's finger licking good food for dinner. Jumped into the car for some ice cream while the five of us cousins had the Ipoh vs. PJ debate. It's like our yearly fix. Continued to spend quality time with the cousins watching Fracture. Ryan Gosling in suits makes my knees weak and heart melt.

8th November 2007;
Deepavali

By right, we're supposed to wake up in the early morning to take out oil bath. Due to our late night, we only dragged ourselves out of bed after ten as we rushed to take turns in the bathroom. It might just be me but the festivities seem to lessen as we grow older. We don't even stay at my grandma's place anymore since she lives with my aunt. There's no more cold showers with a pail (which was rather fun, actually). It just seems a little weird like something is missing. I just can't put my finger on it.

After much waiting and hurrying, we finally settled for our usual morning breakfast together. My uncle's friend dropped over the most delicious banana muffins ever. I must have eaten more than a handful of those. We then changed into our new clothes while I made another attempt to sneak upstairs for some time alone and to indulge in a little history. Unfortunately, this attempt was once again unfruitful. I almost went mad but I had LimDominqueJo&KohSuMei keeping me sane. Thank you loves <3.>
It's a family tradition to celebrate my grandma's birthday during Deepavali because that's the time we're usually all together. We had the whole cake cutting thing and took a handful of pictures. After the day's drama, I wasn't really up to it.

The children. -All M's.
Notice how the light reflects off my uncle&dad's heads. Haha ;).

+the kids in law. -Both B's. It's like they planned it.

The awesome grandkids. (minus the older lawyers in UK -my sister&cousin)

Clockwise - BK3, Mummy, BK4, Uncle :)

BK2 :)

I really like this picture! Haha :)

Before I knew it, we were leaving Ipoh at about 6.00 with my brother behind the wheel yet again. This time I did not sleep. We had a smooth journey home and I was dropped off at Vanu's for her open house. Once again I didn't stay for very long but I had fun realising my inner child (and Chinese self) playing Monopoly and striking deals with everyone else. Miriam, Davi, Nique and I make a good team! Nique&I declared ourselves winners again Nat. Oh, for future reference, Lingesh is a bad luck charm. The moment he left, Nat won 1100 bucks and started buiding houses. Haha.

10th November 2007;
Dinner at Cyberjaya/Putrajaya

My dad told me he would take me out for dinner just for a little somethingsomething before the beginning of the end. I hesitantly agreed thinking it would be a small thing. Instead, I was roped in for dinner with my parent's friends and out ex-neighbous, Uncle Derek and Aunty Olivia. Drove all the way to the deserted Cyberjaya where they were staying.

I wasn't very entertained by their conversation so I occupied myself with my dad's phone. Pictures aren't of best quality but I fell in love with the place. Cyberview Lodge&Spa is the perfect getaway for a relaxing weekend away from civilization. Seriously.

I love the hammock by the pool :)

Oh, and happy eighteenth to my darling subbie, Chia Eu Jinn :).

11th November 2007;
The day before the beginning of the end of the world

Mei came over for a couple of hours in the afternoon for some muruku&studying. We didn't get much done but I'm pretty sure if she didn't come over, we would have slept the afternoon away. Besides, I enjoy time spent with her <3.

jue*there ain't no distance far enough.

Well,in everything else way there's a change because now there's me (:

You know just the right things to say <3.

a better kiss, a better touch.

I feel like I'm going through some mid teen life crisis where I can't make up my mind on a lot of things which is rather unlike me because I'm usually very opinionated. Oh well. Maybe this might just pass with the wind.

Do leave a comment so I can add you to the list just so people can check if they have a friend or two wherever they're going.

Hm. Five subjects down and another five more to go. I honestly cannot wait for exams to be over so I can start cleaning. Yes, I have OCD and yes, I reallyreallyreally want to start cleaning my shelves and table and room and closet. Now quit giving me that stare. I'm guessing the next nine days is sure going to be brain teasing. Wish me luck.

jue*but one last time let's go there.

and even in the hardest of times.

It's been about four days already, but my heartfelt condolences go out to Sarah and her family.

I'm so amazed at the way you're handling this even in the midst of our exams. Just remember that no matter what, you'll always have someone to go to.

I admire your strength, darl.

jue*just the five of us.

so, sally can wait.

I was trying to look for the words to say when I decided to clicketyclick on Mel's link and there it was, words taken right out of my mouth.

"It’s been awhile since my last update. It feels like so much has happened and I have so much to tell but then again, these stories feel like they belong to the moments that have gone by and I’m thinking perhaps that’s the way things should stay. Maybe it would just be better to let whatever’s blowing in the wind to blow in the winds."
But I think I will be updating about my past few weekends (after I'm done with my papers). There's too many pictures and too many moments I just cannot leave out.

On a different note, I've been deleting posts here and there just because I don't feel it's up to standard. It's some personal issue, I suppose. I've been rather dissatisfied lately -in more ways than one. And I would try to overcome it, but heck, I'm can't put my finger on what exactly it is. I get annoyed at little things, nothing seems to please me, I can't make decisions and I've totally lost my appetite It's like DIVA alert. Of course I could be like every other girl and blame it on Bloody Mary, but that can't be right. Oh well. I guess I'll figure it out...eventually.

Am I the only one that doesn't feel like SPM has started? I mean besides the fact that many of my friends aren't online, it just doesn't feel like in thirteen days, I'll be done. Think about it, exams aren't just around the corner anymore and it isn't knocking on our doors. It's practically passed out on the sofa next to the TV and still in yesterday's clothes.

Oh, but since I'm at it; Good luck to the 07' SPM Candidates :)
Just a few (okay, I'm lying) more days left and we'll be over and done with it.

jue*just like a tattoo.
