the drugs don't work.

Finally, a day to myself and no one else. Don't get me wrong, I don't wanna stay cooped up at home. But every now and then, a day alone can be rather...gratifying. Anyways, if I don't do this, I'd be thinking about it all week, so here it goes.

26th June 2008;

A certain Superman flew back from the land down under. Woke me up at some ungodly hour to tell me too, not that I mind of course. Yes, he gets special exemptions. Deal with it.

I was stuck at piano class for three hours today. My class was only an hour but my dad decided to invite himself in and have a little chat with my teachers which lasted two bloody long hours. So, I missed the movie with my classmates and instead headed off to Curve at 3-ish.

It was supposed to be like a day out with Aishah, Aznam and Ieka but Ieka left soon after so the rest of us were left wandering around pretty clueless. I don't like Curve during the day. Come to think of it, malls bore me. We spent a good amount of time at Ikea for some reason. The meatballs are good <3.

Ooh, but I did manage to watch Wanted at the end of the day with Annie and Muzzie instead. My obsession with Angelina Jolie probably upped a notch. Oh well.

27th June 2008;

Because we're allowed to be vain every now and then.

What was supposed to be a movie marathon at Nique's just became a let's bum on the couch and do nothing day. In all fairness, we did manage to make it through one movie.

Oh yes, Julian invaded our best friend time, but I guess it was okay. He mistakenly ate Pringles that were already expired for two years and had to listen to us talk about dresses when Berlin came over later. The choices for prom dresses just doesn't seem to be decreasing. Every time I kick a dress off the list, another one comes up. So we ended up putting pictures of all the dresses next to each other, verbally listing the pros and cons of each dress and yet we I still couldn't come to a decision.

This is me sorting out potential prom accessories.

This is me trying to find inspiration for my prom attire.

This is me giving up hence resulting to just take pictures.

Went home for a bit before leaving to OU where I followed my brother in search for his suit. I must say, I like his choice :). Bought a pair of shoes just because I felt like I had to and by the time I got home, I was so tired from doing almost nothing the entire day, I just fell asleep like the bum I am. Hee :)

28th June 2008;

The day started of with Nique&I dropping by school for the annual Hari Keusahawanan. After the first walk around school, we were sorta questioning our reasons to be there. I guess the hype about carnival disappears once you've left school because really, there's nothing much to it except for a bunch of school kids trying to sell you almost the same things for hours to end. It's different when you're involved in the planning and running of the carnival, but really, why did people attend before? Or maybe the carnivals hosted during my year was just better :D

To our surprise, we saw our usual BB friends roaming around school, fresh from their own school carnival.

Damn SS.

The scorching heat was too much to take so all of us jumped into five or six cars and drove to Section 14's McDeez only to realize it's still closed for renovation. Headed over to SS2 for a bit. We were like some sort of convoy. Good times, really. From Kye Min having to park Nique's car to a certain someone not being able to start her car hence having to call her mother all the way only then to realise she didn't turn the key all the way. I'm quite happy I don't drive.

I was about to head back home but decided to follow the rest back to school to meet up with a certain Vitch and other people. Saw Dinie the Meanie too :)

Later at night, it was Berlin's little get together at Valencia. Lame jokes occupied us for the earlier parts of the night while munching on delicious food. I think I ate enough to guilt trip me into not eating for a week (haha, joke).

Zamzamalakazam.

We later played CHARADES - because we're just cool like that. I don't think I'd ever find another bunch of people in their late teens so hyped up over multiple rounds of charades. You can watch the videos on Kelsey's Facebook, actually (or alternatively just click here and here).

The girls.

...and them boys.

I'm pretty sure we didn't conclude a winner because we were easily distracted by Berlin and Azrain getting married cutting the cake.

Chindian kids.

Ex D*Starz :)

Brad giving a sponge bath to Ming. Boyy, he sure likes it.

I think this is a pretty picture.

Oh, and now I'm officially scared to ride in MyV's over 100km/h.
