some want to kiss you and some want to kick you.

Exam Stories.

It's finally over. All 23 papers and 10 days of it. Call me a drama queen, but this is the first time we've sat for all the papers, and thank the heaven's we don't have to till another 115 days more. Anyway, here's a quick check on the days that have gone by. Not in chronological order though.
  • First up, I have to congratulate myself for staying away from the computer for so long. Not because I had to, not because I was banned but just because I didn't feel the need to come online. It might not be much for you but for someone with her personal computer, wireless internet and generally loose rules on computer usage, you would think I would use all this freedom to be constantly online (like I usually am). I guess this is when hell freezes over.
  • Despite having exams and all, my family & a bunch of friends went to watch Spiderman 3 on May 1st. Seriously, the mall was P-A-C-K-E-D. I didn't know Spiderman 3 was that anticipated. And to top it all off, just as we were going to buy popcorn before heading in, the entire TGV part of the mall had a blackout. 20 minutes later, the counter person announces, "Sorry, there has been a power failure". Gee, like we didn't figure that out. Eventually we did get to see the movie and gosh, Berl couldn't stop talking. Haha. Which kinda made me talk which kinda made Lal's brother get mad. Woops. The movie was good though. And James Franco deserves an extrayummylicious award. Funny quotable quotes were said during the movie, but I guess you have to be there to laugh. SIMBA! ;).

  • ElenaBanana came over the other day for a random visit. I think it's just because she didn't want to stay at Puan Ilani's for too long. Oh well. She needed some long overdue human company anyway. Besides Hang that is. Talking to the cat for too long doesn't do you any good. So we just talked and talked gossiped and gossiped and gossiped some more. Talked about the most random things and touched a bit on our usual ones. It's good to know that we can still talk despite the distance. Let me rephrase that, it's good to know we can still BITCH despite the distance. Love you foreverandever babe. Good luck for your exams. And don't worry, I won't tell anyone about the cockroach incident. You know the one where it came near you and you started screaming so much it ran away but you still screamed and I laughed and even though you were screaming for my maid, she didn't come and when my parents saw you they just walked away and we just left you there screaming for a good 15 minutes? Yeah, THAT incident. I won't tell anyone about it ;).

  • All the late nights and deprivation of sleep really took a toll on my body. My sleeping timing went so haywire, it's amazing I could convince my mind to stay up during exams. The lights in my room have been left on the whole night/morning even when I do accidentally fall asleep and it's been ages since I've slept properly on my pillow with my comforter pulled close to my body. Mum says I waste electricity. Sacrifices for knowledge la. A special thanks to that not-so-gay gay friend of mine for waking me up countless number of times and bugging me to study. It's your turn to study hard. Haha.

  • Which reminds me, all this lack of sleep has got me dreaming me very very weird dreams. First I thought it was a one time thing but then it happened again and again and I'm actually starting to get a little worried. It started off with one dream where B had asked me to dance. I didn't know it was B at first and it took me forever to actually figure out who he was. Then a few nights ago I dreamt I was visiting Z's house in Singapore and I was hanging out there with our families and all. And most recently, two nights ago, I dreamt I was on a date with KH which is weird cause he's in Form 3 (like that was ever a problem) and J was in the dream too. Like ohmygod, talk about random. I don't event talk to this people or see them frequent let alone be close enough to dream about. And they weren't just passing figures, they were actually the entire dream. Until I figure this out, I guess Zhen would just have to tolerate all my story telling in the PR. Haha.

  • Moral paper last week was kinda funny. Surprisingly, it was my most completed paper and I finished it 5 minutes before the bell rang so I decided to be a diligent student and check my answers. I looked up from my paper and saw Hema's front page which had highlighted instructions. I thought to myself, "What could be so important on the front page that she has to highlight it?". So I decided to check. I read the instructions :

Kertas ini mengandungi 8 soalan struktur and 3 soalan esei.

So I rechecked my paper. Seven structured questions and two essays. Check again. STILL Seven structured questions and two essays. Crap, in the last two minutes of the exam, I asked Puan Loo for the missing sheet and scribbled on my answers in lightning speed. It didn't help that Puan Loo kept on making jokes and doing that eye thing at me. Let's just hope it doesn't jeopardize my marks. Heh -_-.

  • You know, I just realised that I'm a rather old fashioned person when it comes to a lot of things. I don't think it's perfectionism anymore, I just think it's a little queer. It's like, I can't read Chapter 9 of something if I haven't read Chapter 2, even though it's totally not connected. I have to go in order and it kinda works in my disadvantage most of the time. I don't know, it's just me I suppose.

  • Oh and here's a reminder to myself to never listen to Sarah's prediction on exam questions. Seriously.

I guess this is a pretty sufficient come back post. More to come, definitely. Cheers :).

jue*give me something to believe in, cause i don't believe in you anymore.
